The Akhalteke horse, recognized as a standard of beauty and perfection, has become the primary symbol of Turkmenistan's rapid development in the new historical era». Guided by these wise words of our Hero-Arkadag and in connection with the 2026 motto «Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses» the editorial board of the “Arkadag” newspaper, together with the Arkadag City Committee of the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan, announced a creative contest titled “Arkadag City — the Cradle of Celestial Horses” at the beginning of the year.
In this regard, specialists from the Horse Breeding Research and Production Center took part in the contest held throughout 2026, prepared a series of articles, and submitted them to the editorial office of the Arkadag newspaper.
In the creative contest titled “Arkadag City — the Cradle of Celestial Horses”, the Grand Prix was awarded to Rahman Abayev, the Scientific Secretary of the Horse Breeding Research and Production Center, who was also presented with a Certificate of Honor.
